Presentation Summary:
This presentation will explore the potential for community-led ecological healing while strengthening relationships between people, land, and learning. We will consider the scale of opportunity in Saskatchewan to highlight how schools, farms, and communities can work together to feed the wildlife we desperately need, from pollinators to soil microbes. One School One Farm Shelterbelt Project is a model for community-based ecological restoration that infuses curricular learning with ecological literacy.
This Webinar Presentation is part of SK PCAP’s Prairie’s Got the Goods Week! PGTGW is an annual, week-long series of webinars focusing on the goods and services provided by the native prairie ecosystem. All of our webinars are FREE and everyone is welcome to attend.
