We're taking a road trip and celebrating Saskatchewan Day with our friends at Buffalo Pound Provincial Park! Bring a picnic and take a trip back in time to 1903 at the Nicolle Homestead, where costumed Park staff will be on hand to provide guided tours, hand-churned ice cream, horse drawn wagon rides, and old-fashioned games.
The WDM will be there with a pop-up museum featuring hands-on artifacts, vintage fashion items, activity sheets and our buffalo coat that you can try on. We'll also be making button whizzers, a toy from long ago made from household scraps - no batteries required!
This event takes place from 1:00 to 4:00 pm at the Charles Nicolle stone house homestead in the Nicolle Flats Nature area.
